Your First Look at What’s in the New Coach x Selena Gomez Collection

Selena Gomez seemingly doesn’t need Justin Bieber to have the (best) busiest summer ever. After modelling in a Puma campaign, she’s filmed a new movie, celebrated her birthday on a private yacht and now, she’s launched her first ready-to-wear collection in collaboration with Coach. Singer, actress, model, most followed person on Instagram and now fashion designer. Talk about multi-talented.

The collection draws inspiration from Gomez playful sense of style and includes pretty pastel garments, accessories and, of course, more handbags. The very stylish pop sensation took the opportunity to share her powerful personal motto, “Not Perfect, Always Me,” which is engraved in her own handwriting on a few pieces. The collection is all about feminine whimsy – think rhinestones motifs, bow-shaped embellishments, floral lace appliqués and bunny embroideries – which perfectly contrasts with Coach’s legacy of leathercraft. The collection also introduces two new bag silhouettes – the Bond and the Trail bag – which Gomez designed in close collaboration with Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers. “I’m so proud of the collection,” said Gomez. “What I love most about working with the Coach team is that they just know how I dress. Everything felt authentic from the beginning.”
