Selena Gomez is Designing a New Clothing Line

Selena Gomez is the most followed person on Instagram, a Lupus survivor and owner of an incredibly gorgeous mid-century modern home. Now that she’s taking a break from Bieber,  she’s using her time wisely and adding another line to her resume: fashion designer. Coach has announced they have partnered with the pop princess to produce a Coach x Selena Gomez lifestyle collection that will launch this fall.

According to a press release, the collection will include outerwear, ready-to-wear, handbags, and other accessories that are based on Gomez’s own personal style. This will be Gomez’s second collection for Coach; the first collection was launched in 2017 and included only handbags and small accessories.

“I always look forward to designing with Selena because she has a strong point of view,” Coach creative director Stuart Vevers said in a statement. “We wanted to bring cool new ideas to the table and I loved getting her take on clothes as much as accessories this time around.”

The only clue as to what the collection will look like is a mysterious post on Gomez’s Instagram of what looks like a close-up shot of a dusty rose-coloured, vintage inspired lace dress. The photo appears to be of a lingerie-inspired robe or a Coachella-ready maxi dress.

“I am so excited to be working with Coach again,” said Gomez. “Getting to create my own collection with Stuart has been such a fun process, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on over the past several months.”
