Selena Gomez should probably just change her name to Slayena. The Disney actress turned pop princess is the latest girl to slay the fashion game. Once a child star with modest taste, Gomez’s style has matured since her days on Wizards of Waverly Place. Like her new music, Gomez’s style is a provocative mix—sultry yet edgy, feminine but strong. And while she can’t keep her hands to herself, we can’t seem to keep our eyes off of her.
Though her style has certainly evolved over the last decade, her affinity for dresses—particularly leg baring and skin revealing ones—remains the same. She looked radiant in both the feathered Rodarte number from their Fall 2015 collection and the old Hollywood-inspired Gucci gown she wore to the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala.
But her Louis Vuitton looks (ICYMI she’s their newest face) take the cake—placing her on everyone’s style radar. She sits pretty in the front row at every LV show and rocked an edgy dress by the brand, complete with a leather bustier and black lace-up boots, to the 2016 Met Gala.
While she certainly looks fab in Louis Vuitton designs, they’re not the only high-end designer eager to dress her. Most recently, Karl Lagerfeld designed a couture costume for her sold-out Revival world tour. The ensemble, which took over 200 hours to create, features black vinyl leggings and a handcrafted silk dress with over 12,000 stitched sequins. Nothing but the best for Gomez!
