Everyone’s favourite Parisian fashionistas (a.k.a. Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper and Ashley Park’s Mindy Chen) got a luxurious style makeover by vintage online retailer Vestiaire Collective for the fourth season of Netflix’s Emily in Paris.

The exciting partnership highlights Vestiaire Collective’s 15-year expertise in luxury resale and, in honour of the collab, the website has removed all seller fees for members. But that’s not all, Vestiaire Collective has also curated an exclusive selection of fun and fashion-forward looks that embody the spirit and unique je ne sais quoi of the show.

The luxury resale brand is also a key component of one of this season’s storylines. But no spoilers here — you’ll just have to watch the latest episodes to find out more. À bientôt!

Fashion Art Toronto announces the FASHN DISRPTR award

Canada is filled with an abundance of fashion talent, which is exactly why Fashion Art Toronto (FAT) has just announced that applications are officially open for their brand-new FASHN DISRPTR award.

As Toronto’s largest inclusive multi-arts fashion platform, FAT created this award to honour three emerging or established Canadian designers who are disrupting and breaking boundaries in fashion. In addition to taking home the award, each winner will also secure an opportunity to produce their own solo runway show or presentation at FAT’s upcoming Fall 2024 Fashion Week in November.

“With our new FASHN DISRPTR Award we are looking to uplift and amplify creative visionaries in Canada who are disrupting norms, creating provocative works and pushing fashion forward,” said Vanja Vasic, the founder and executive director of FAT.

Applications are open now and will close on Monday, August 26.
