North West, the eldest child of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West, had an impromptu musical performance at her father’s Yeezy show in Paris on March 2. The six-year-old style icon rapped on the runway stage while models donned futuristic Yeezy ensembles. The show was monochromatic with a minimalistic set—leaving enough room for the young West to bring her playful energy.

Rapping her own remix to “What I Do” by five-year-old Instagram personality ZaZa, West and her solo performance debut received a very motherly review from Kim Kardashian West.

Kardashian West’s Tweet, which also gave a shout out to ZaZa, came after ZaZa’s parents took to Instagram to request due credit, saying that “creativity deserves homage.”

Kardashian West replied: “We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too! Today’s performance of North’s remix of ZaZa’s song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn’t mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon. ?”

This performance follows Kanye West’s Paris Fashion Week edition of his Sunday Service. As for North West, her interests in music, fashion and beauty seem to be developing at a rapid pace. Stay tuned for more from the precocious six-year-old.
