These Were the Best Beauty Instagrams of the Week
Another week, another set of Instagrams to save to your beauty inspo collection.
This week, we’ve got a wide range of looks — from bold eyeshadow to mesmerizing smoky eyes and simple, delicate nail art. Ruby Aldridge and Simi Haze both rocked bold, over-the-top glossy eyeshadows, while Raye and Isabel Moner showed off two different takes on the cat eye (both are worth an attempt at recreating). And the mother of makeup, Pat McGrath, demonstrated how to put her new Mothership Eye Palette (launching Sept. 28) to good use in a mesmerizing video that we could play on a loop all day.
But our fave ‘gram this week? Yara Shahidi‘s subtle, asymmetrical silver lip liner that just screams cool.

Yara Shahidi
Like we said, subtle but totally effective. The slight shimmer on the rest of Yara’s pout is a nice touch.
Simi Haze
This is a look and we love it. Especially with the matching mani.
Pat McGrath
If you manage to recreate this eye look when Pat’s eye palette comes out, kudos to you. We’ll just be here re-watching this vid over and over.
Vanessa Hudgens
A similar, sparkly smoky eye that’s extremely well-executed. Also, that shaggy lob is wonderful.

We’d like a “kinky shag” too, please.

That teal shadow is amaze, but what really makes this look is the bleached brows (and that thick, messy wing).

She summed it up perfectly: “eyeliner sharp af 2 cut out tha bad vibes.” This will pretty much be our new mantra.

That ribbon is just so, so pretty… as is the natural, luminescent makeup.
