
Pascale Diverlus is born of a lineage of Haitian freedom fighters. She is an award-winning community organizer, storyteller, communications specialist, digital strategist, and educator. Her favourite role is as a writer, where she often puts pen to paper on issues of Black womanhood, justice, displacement, belonging, home and Haiti. Her words have been featured in the Toronto Star, Refinery29, and Chatelaine Magazine amongst others. Pascale is also the co-founder and former lead organizer with the Black Lives Matter Canada and a co-visionary of Wildseed Centre for Art and Activism. With pen and mic, she is instrumental to today’s social movements for marginalized people to attain joy, love, revolution and freedom.
