In honour of World Vegan Day, we’re highlighting some of our favourite vegan accessory brands. Vegan fashion takes on all shapes and sizes – from the season’s coolest sneakers to the most stylish structured bags – and proves there’s more to accessories than leather.
In addition to being fashionable, these five brands also tick the extra important box of being cruelty free. Whether you live a vegan lifestyle already or are trying to shop more sustainably, there are options at every price point. Matt and Nat
The well-recognized brand Matt and Nat stands for Material and Nature. Their accessory collection is entirely vegan and they are known for experimenting with recycled materials. For example, the lining of their bags are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
Stella McCartney
Stella McCartney is one of the most well-known luxury designers working with vegan leather and employing sustainable practices. The popular brand recognizes the impact of synthetic leather and has made efforts to minimize these effects with recycled polyester and by exploring the possibility of lab-grown leather. The stacked list of celeb supporters make this brand an industry influencer.
Native Shoes
This super lightweight and colourful line of shoes has stylish options for everyone and is 100% animal-free. The brand also has a recycling program where old styles can be returned as part of The Remix Project where they will be reused in other projects such as playground flooring.
Vegan Accessories
Crossbydy with Chain Strap

Ela
After years of producing leather handbags, Ela relaunched the brand with a collection made from entirely vegan alternatives. Vegan styles include new and old favourites and currently 100% of proceeds from styles purchased on Ebay go to not-for-profit Evergreen.
Call It Spring
Call It Spring has recently launched 19 vegan styles. The shoes and bags are made of sustainable materials like recycled water bottles, natural algae and vegan leather that uses fewer chemicals during production.
