If Milan street style scene is known for anything, it’s measured, easy-going elegance. Fashion Month is well underway, and while New York and London champion up-and-coming designers with a playful mélange of aesthetics, the Italian style capital served a particular kind of seasoned chicness.
Hosting the runways of heritage houses like Fendi, Prada and Gucci, Milan is synonymous with timelessness — and the outfits worn around the city are no different. Instead of testing multiple risky trends at a time, Milan Fashion Week Fall 2025 street style stars made classic formulas feel fresh in subtle yet singular ways.
This season at MFW (which came to a close on March 3) monochromatic moments were making waves, with full-body looks of deep olive green and rich red wine. Elsewhere, skillful layering rejected the classic hourglass and leaned into the elevated allure of ultra-baggy silhouettes. Perhaps most impressively, casual hats like baseball caps and bright beanies served as an inexplicably correct final touch to otherwise formal ensembles.
All in all, it was these nuanced styling commitments — distinct colour palettes, unusual shapes, unique add-ons — that made Milan Fashion Week Fall 2025 street style so good.
