Day two of Milan Fashion Week was nothing short of a sartorial thrill as our favourite Italian designers showed off their Spring 2015 collections. From the Barbie-inspired designs on the Moschino runway to the glam furs and jewels seen at both Prada and Fendi, we couldn’t be more excited for spring (if we can just get through the winter—sigh). While we are always on the edge of our seats, eagerly waiting to see what Karl Lagerfeld will serve up, we were also equally fervent to see what our favourite street style stars were sporting outside the shows.

And disappointed we were not—a cool laid-back chic look was definitely the theme of yesterday’s street style as elevated pieces such as midi skirts and dresses were paired down with more casual elements like a leather jacket, classic white tee or an uber-cool sneaker spotted on the likes of Helena Bordon, Georgia Tal, and Chiara Ferragni. Key pieces that stood out included Fendi headphones (spotted on none other than Anna Dello Russo), pink glitter booties, as well as the limited edition Karl Lagerfeld keychains seen dangling off a number of bags. To say the least, Italian designers know how to have fun with their designs and it certainly trickled down into the fashion choices spotted outside the Spring 2015 shows.
