Our look is about to get a whole lot more…joyful. We know that Milan Fashion Week isn’t one for subtlety and neutral palettes and at yesterday’s Moschino Spring 2015 show, Jeremy Scott took that to a whole new level. Following Scott’s candy and cartoon-inspired Fall 2014 collection, which was his first for Moschino (the man knows how to make an entrance), this season’s Barbie-themed showing is just as cheeky and joyful—an impressive feat when you have to follow Spongebob Squarepants and McDonald’s french fries. Oh and, when we say Barbie-inspired, we mean the models walked down the runway in actual outfits worn by Barbie throughout her, uh, life.

Of course, we were just as enamoured with the models’ heaps of blonde waves and cotton candy lips. The thought of parting with our deep burgundy stains is a bit too much to bear right now, but once the warmer weather rolls around, you can bet we’ll be swiping on coat after coat of bright shades of rose, for a look that’s 50% retro, 50% Nicki Minaj and 100% perfect for spring.
