Loewe has been on a remarkable run. As the second-oldest luxury fashion house in the world, the Spanish brand has unveiled its newest Canadian boutique at Vancouver’s Oakridge Park—a fitting home for one of fashion’s most design-driven labels.

Already shaping up to be Canada’s next luxury destination, Oakridge Park has quickly attracted an impressive roster of fashion heavyweights, from Prada and Louis Vuitton to Miu Miu and Tiffany & Co. But it’s more than a place to shop. Conceived as both a retail destination and a cultural hub, the development blends luxury boutiques with public art, music, fashion programming and community events, making it one of the country’s most ambitious new lifestyle destinations.

Loewe slots naturally into that vision. The boutique is, as they say, on brand, with clean architectural lines punctuated by pops of primary colour that offer an immersive look into the house’s distinctive identity. Glossy tiled walls define the space, appearing throughout in forest green, ultramarine blue and reflective silver. That bold palette is complemented by the colourful ready-to-wear, handbags and accessories lining the walls, where the brand’s playful spirit comes to life.

The opening also marks the Canadian debut of Loewe’s 180th-anniversary capsule collection, showcasing designs by creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. It’s a timely reminder that while the house has nearly two centuries of craftsmanship behind it, its vision for the future remains as fresh as ever.
