Is fashion art? It depends on who you ask. But there’s no doubt that the two have a special relationship, personified by H&M’s new collaboration with New York-based fashion designers Ev Bravado and Téla D’Amore.

The 30-piece H&M collection explores the legacy of Jean-Michel Basquiat and his impact on young Black creatives, merging Basquiat’s iconic imagery and rarely seen artworks with Bravado and D’Amore’s stained glass motifs and expressive designs. While we have to wait until August 1 for the assortment to be available in stores and online, expect graphic tees, colourful jeans and much more.

With Y2K fashion coming back with a vengeance, it was only a matter of time before the rebirth of the wedge, and Dior is leading the charge.

The Attitude Dior shoe embodies the retro spirit of the house’s Fall 2024 show while staying firmly in the present. Available as mules or platform sandals with an adhesive strap at the back, the heels come in two heights (6.5 cm and 9.5 cm) and a variety of materials. Don’t blame us if you suddenly feel yourself going boho. Check them out in-stores or online on July 18.

To quote the renowned philosopher known as Rihanna, ’tis the season to “shine bright like a diamond.” Not sure how? Warby Parker has your answer with the release of its new collection “Diamond Cuts.”

Starting at $295 CAD, the frames are said to be inspired by “the faceted surface of crystal stones,” and feature a geometric pattern to evoke the texture of gemstones.  Like the jewel, the glasses come in a variety of colours, from dreamy pastels to dark tortoise hues, and will make the perfect accessory for any summer ensemble. After all, diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
