Attention, attention! There’s a new muse at Dior — and it’s none other than Rihanna! Parfums Christian Dior has tapped the Bajan multi-hyphenate to be the new face of its iconic J’adore fragrance, which has been a staple scent for powerful, independent women like Rih since 1999. The fragrance was previously fronted by Charlize Theron for the last 20 (!) years.

“Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission. This scent, that I have known and loved for so long, means so much to women,” says Rihanna in a press statement. “I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”

The first J’adore campaign starring the singer will be shot by the legendary Steven Klein and revealed on September 1.

The Ordinary launches a hydrating little lip balm

Rihanna Is the New Face of Dior’s Iconic J’adore Fragrance + More Beauty News

One of the coolest beauty launches to drop this week is The Ordinary’s newest lip care innovation, the Squalene + Amino Acids Lip Balm. Within its formula, a unique blend of amino acids and, you guessed it, squalene, helps to lock in moisture and leave your lips feeling super soft while providing skin barrier support.

What’s more, this multi-use balm can be used on your elbows and cuticles, too.
