Hailey Bieber Recreates Princess Diana’s Most Iconic Looks in New Shoot
And the similarities are *wild*
Princess Diana is undoubtedly one of the top style icons of all time. Regularly challenging stiff royal dress protocol during her life, Diana loved fashion and had fun with the pieces she chose to wear. Now, Hailey Bieber is channelling some of the late royal’s most iconic looks as part of a new shoot for Vogue Paris.
This Saturday August 31 marks 22 years since Princess Diana’s untimely death and the Parisian title is celebrating the enduring influence she had on the world via this new shoot.
In the images, shot by Gregory Harris and styled by Virginie Benarroch, Bieber can be seen sporting some of her most iconic looks, including oversized sweatshirts and bike shorts (a trend loved by Gigi Hadid who recently wore a pair by a Canadian brand), cowboy boots and menswear-inspired blazers and baseball caps with just about everything.

new story for @vogueparis shot by @gstyles styled by @virginiebenarroch ? all credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember. Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy.
Taking to Instagram to debut the shoot, Hailey (who was recently revealed as the face of the upcoming Alexander Wang x Bvlgari collaboration) wrote, “All credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember. Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy.”
Many fans were quick to point out the immense similarities in looks between the pair, sharing their love for the images in the comments. Fellow models Jasmine Tookes, Blanca Padilla, Victoria Lee, Romee Strijd, Gigi Hadid, Shanina Shaik and Emily Ratajkowski were full of praise, as were actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson and makeup artist to the stars Katie Jane Hughes.
And I know we’re still technically in summer but these shots are really making me excited to bust out my oversize sweats and boyfriends jeans for fall.
