The Week in Celebrity Style: See Who Made Our Best-Dressed List

By Renée Tse

Dressing up in the summer can be tricky. With hot and sticky weather, all we really want to wear is a swimsuit and a pair of daisy dukes. Unfortunately, that kind of attire isn’t always the most appropriate. So if you’re running out of sartorial ideas on what to wear to beat the heat, look no further than the A-listers who stepped out this past week. Hello, summer style inspo.

Florals may not be ground-breaking for spring (or summer for that matter), but they are the perennial fave when it comes to picking summer dresses. Cases in point: Emily Blunt and Kristen Bell both opted for blooms at this year’s Disney D23 Expo. While Blunt wore a romantic rose-printed Dolce & Gabbana dress, Bell brightened up the room in a flirty two-piece number from the Spring 2017 Michael Kors Collection. Beyoncé, too, couldn’t help but add a little flora to her date-night look. After breaking Instagram with the first photo of her and the twins, Queen Bey shared her first #ootn since giving birth, which consisted of a white Ellery top and a pink floral Zimmerman mini skirt.

Choosing the right colour is also crucial to beating the sweltering heat and white is clearly the go-to shade. Kate Middleton wowed in a white Alexander McQueen coat dress when she, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte arrived in Poland. It girl (and our former cover girl) Olivia Palermo further proved she’s the queen of effortless style at Wimbledon.

From Charlize Theron’s red-hot mini dress to Sophie Turner’s glam t-shirt dress, see what our fave stars were up to this past week.
