Chanel launches the Première Sound Watch
There are few accessories more timeless than a classic watch (pun intended) — but what is fashion without innovation? Well, with the brand’s new Première Sound Watch, Chanel has revitalized the concept of a traditional timepiece.
Modelled after the original Chanel Premiére watch released in 1987, this luxurious accessory transforms into a necklace thanks to its long chain that mimics the shoulder straps of the house’s iconic bags. But that’s not all. With the click of a button, the watch can connect to any smartphone or audio device for a unique (and very fashion-forward) listening experience. Accompanied by high-quality headphones, a discreet microphone and remote controls to adjust volume, you can now listen to music, podcasts and even take phone calls with your Chanel jewels.
This chic piece of wearable tech will be available at Chanel boutiques across Canada starting on September 2. Talk about 21st-century style!
Pandora expands its lab-grown diamonds collection

The new designs feature small, brilliant stones set against sophisticated white and yellow gold. Available on an array of designs starting on September 5 both in-store and online, these jewels are both accessible and eco-friendly, reinforcing Pandora’s mission to make diamonds accessible for all.
Very demure, indeed.
Canada Goose collaborates with NBA-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
That crisp, fresh breeze of cool fall air is slowly creeping in and, while it’s always hard to say goodbye to those sunny summer days, we have some good news that will hopefully make the upcoming seasonal changes a little more bearable. That’s right, Canada Goose’s collaboration with basketball all-star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is here.
Gilgeous-Alexander, a point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder who grew up in Hamilton, Ont., worked with the brand to design a true standout piece by creating a unique lightweight jacket in a modern reversible camo print. Featuring a cropped fit, extended collar height, built-in shoulder pads and the iconic Canada Goose emblem embossed in a sage-toned disc, this one-of-a-kind jacket will surely take your cool-weather outfits up a notch.
Homme Plissé Issey Miyake and Ronan Bouroullec team up at Vancouver’s Holt Renfrew
Calling all art enthusiasts! If you find yourself in Vancouver soon, you won’t want to miss the new collection and installation by Homme Plissé Issey Miyake and designer/artist Ronan Bouroullec at the city’s Holt Renfrew location.
The North American exclusive installation displays the creative sessions between the fashion brand and Bouroullec, which resulted in an exciting and interesting showcase that bridges the worlds of fashion and contemporary art. To accompany the installation, a collaborative collection, aptly titled “Drawing,” integrates Bouroullec’s unique designs with the brand’s signature pleated fabric, resulting in garments that are true pieces of wearable art.
