The Best Dressed Celebs at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards
Nearly a month after the Met Gala’s extravagant red carpet, comes the second most anticipated night in fashion, the CFDA Awards.
This year’s fashion awards was a night full of exciting firsts. Issa Rae was the host, making her not only the first female host in 9 years, but also the first Black host ever. It took place in Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Museum, the first time the event has moved away from Alice Tully Hall, their typical venue of choice. Kim Kardashian West received an Influencer Award, the first of its kind. Lili Reinhart continued her year of fashion firsts and attended her first ever CFDA Awards, alongside other fresh faced first timers Camila Mendes, Katherine Langford, and Maddie Ziegler. However, the night also showed appreciation towards fashion’s lifetime achievers, honouring long-time industry vets such as Naomi Campbell, Donatella Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Diane von Furstenberg.
