Kristine Moran, Between Life and Death

Brooklyn-based painter Kristine Moran takes over Toronto’s Daniel Faria Gallery with a solo show opening this weekend. In Between Life and Death, Moran envisions a space where life and death intersect, influenced by the likes of Paul Gaugin and Willem de Kooning.

Halloween House Party and Zombie Brunch

The Drake Hotel is anchoring Queen West’s Halloween scene with a next-level house party. DJs Famou$ Players and Dougie Boom will man the Lounge and Underground respectively, with a $500 cash prize for best costume awarded at midnight. Come brunch time, the hotel is adding ghoulish treats to the menu, like Brains + Eggs and Zombie Punch, the perfect remedy if you’re feeling like a walking dead.
