This weekend, we’re hitting up an all-day loft party in Toronto, a gallery opening in Vancouver, shops for runway looks (and accessories to match) and following Robert Pattinson on an epic cab ride across Manhattan (that was filmed in Toronto). Toronto’s 10-day-long festival of arts and creativity kicks off today with dozens of events across the city. On Saturday, FASHION and Lancôme present Soon is Now, an all-day loft party featuring live painting and performances by Canadian artist Corno and Lady Gaga collaborator Charlie Le Mindu.

Everyone’s favourite vampire caused a near-riot on Monday when he arrived at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto for the premiere of Cosmopolis. Director David Cronenberg’s latest puts R-Pattz in a decidedly adult role opposite Toronto homegirl Sarah Gadon.
