Everything Coming to Netflix Canada in September

11 years after starring together in Superbad, Emma Stone and Jonah Hill take the lead in one of Netflix’s most anticipated releases to date. Directed by True Detective’s Cary Fukunaga, Maniac is a mind-bending drama that follows two strangers who find themselves caught up in a pharmaceutical trial. The medication their testing promises to fix their unhappiness — instead, they get trapped inside their imaginations, navigating across a series of universes and scenarios over and over and over again.

Sierra Burgess Is A Loser

Peter Kavinsky, our collective summer 2018 crush, is already returning to our small screens — sort of. Noah Centineo, the 22-year old actor who stole our hearts as the leading man in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, is returning to Netflix with another high school romcom. In Sierra Burgess is a Loser, Centineo joins Stranger Things actress Shannon Purser for a cat-fishing teenage love story. And there’s a bonus: the film features new music co-written by Troye Sivan. Nappily Ever After

Based on the best-selling book by Trisha Thomas, Nappily Ever After sees perfectionist Violet Jones struggling to balance her demanding career with her relationship and her perfectly maintained, always straightened hair. When things start falling apart, a quest for liberation leads Jones to shave off her hair. Her realization? “Living a perfect life — with the perfect hair — might be overrated.” Available September 21
