Gigi Hadid’s been on our fashion radar since the age of 2 when she first started modelling for Baby Guess. Since then, she’s transformed from an all-American girl to a true force to be reckoned with.
As a child, Hadid’s style reflected her sporty personality and laid-back SoCal lifestyle. Think equestrian Malibu Barbie with better blonde hair. While you can still find her rocking swimsuits – after all, she was named one of the twelve rookies in Sport’s Illustrated’s 2014 swimsuit issue – her look du jour (thanks to celeb stylist Monica Rose) is more sophisticated meets sexy.
Since her resurgence as the face of Guess in 2012 (and then again in 2015), Hadid has racked up a pretty impressive fashion resume. Only 21, Hadid has been involved in several campaigns, fronting top brands like Maybelline, Versace, Stuart Weitzman and Tom Ford. She’s not only walked the Victoria’s Secret runway amongst veterans like Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel, but she’s also hosted the 2016 iHeartRADIO MuchMusic Video Awards. While she certainly stole the show in outfits by Mugler, Elisabetta Franchi and August Getty Atelier, if we’re being completely honest, we still can’t get over her custom Mikhael Kale moto jacket from the 2015 MMVAs.
And who can forget her now iconic 2016 Met Gala look alongside beau, Zayn Malik? She played up her edgy side with a sleek ponytail and a dark, tech-chic gown by Tommy Hilfiger.
Whether she’s rocking a daring gown (yes, we’re totally referencing that black Anthony Vaccarello cutout gown from the Victoria’s Secret After Party), sizzling in jumpsuits or globe-trotting in athleisure, we can’t wait to see what new outfit she’ll slay on Instagram or on the runway. Check back here often as we continue to update our gallery with each of her fab looks.
