Sunglasses Nails Are the Coolest New Korean Beauty Trend

First came glass nails, then bracelet nails, and now, the latest trend to come out of the land of beauty innovations (Korea, obviously) is sunglasses nails. Nail artist and Paintbox creative director Julie Kandalec discovered the trend, and it’s one we can totally get on board with.

Kind of like the chrome nails trend that took over this past summer, but more...sunglasses-y, Kandalec came across the trend while searching for the next big thing in Seoul. “TREND ALERT,” she wrote. “Sunglass nails spotted in Korea. Who wants them first?!!” And she was sure to add #nofilter to the pic.

While we don’t have a DIY for you just yet, your best bet as of now would be to take this photo to your nail artist and have them recreate it using chrome or metallic pigments. Godspeed!
