If there’s one thing we know about Dyson, it’s that there’s always something bigger and better just around the corner. Case in point: the announcement of the Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer that came earlier this week at a Dyson launch event in Seoul, South Korea. A level-up from the existing Supersonic, the Supersonic Nural prioritizes hair and scalp health by utilizing sensors to activate innovative styling modes (like Scalp Protect mode and the Pause to detect feature) to help minimize heat damage.

“If you’re able to limit heat damage, you can get a healthier scalp; and healthier hair,” says brand founder and chief engineer James Dyson in a press statement. “Our new Supersonic Nural has a time of flight sensor which recognizes your head and reduces the heat as it gets close to your hair, preventing heat damage to both your scalp and hair.”

The Nural will be available to shop in Canada in two aesthetically pleasing blue colourways as of May 2, and will come equipped with five attachments, including the new Wave+Curl diffuser designed for wavy and curly hair.

The Maker is now available at Sephora Canada

Here’s another Sephora Canada launch to get excited about: The arrival of The Maker! Originating from The Maker Hotel in Hudson, New York, this prestige lifestyle brand is behind a delicious selection of luxurious scents — including their latest fragrance release, the warm and woody-scented Lover.

Housed in ribbed glass bottles inspired by antique ink flasks, each fragrance by The Maker beautifully encapsulates the bohemian feel of the brand. What’s more, there are also four vintage-inspired candles to shop that are nearly too gorgeous to burn.

Olehenriksen sunscreen has landed in Canada

The arrival of Olehenriksen’s Banana Bright Mineral Sunscreen this week comes just in time for spring. Formulated with 100 per cent mineral protection, this SPF-30 daily sun blocker forms a physical barrier over the skin for maximum protection.

At the same time, a brightening blend of zinc oxide and clinical-grade Vitamin C team up to illuminate dull skin by up to 26 per cent.
