How To Make Metallic Makeup Feel New Again

Metallic makeup and rose gold, well, anything, have become Instagram staples. Double tap bait, if you will. But sometimes, the best way to relieve trend fatigue isn’t by jumping to the next thing—it’s by shaking up the current trend and reimagining it.

That’s exactly what we did when we teamed up with Insta-famous makeup artist, Vlada Haggerty and Smashbox Cosmetics. Haggerty, who holds the very unique and enviable title of Smashbox Lip Editor-in-Chief, used the brand’s new Petal Metal collection, to create six beautiful metallic looks, from graphic eyeliner to rose gold-drenched lips.
