To celebrate International Women’s Day, guests gathered at the Omni King Edward Hotel last night, for L’Oréal Paris’ Women of Worth Gala, honouring 10 incredible women and their philanthropic efforts. (You can get to know all 10 women and learn about their work here.)

Of course, the night would not have been the same without the guest of honour, the one and only Dame Helen Mirren, who both kicked off and closed the evening---even saying that “being here is way better than the Oscars.” Mirren, who is a L’Oréal Paris’ spokesperson, became understandably emotional while wrapping up the incredible gala and thanking the honourees for their efforts and dedication.
