Julia Roberts fronts the latest Lancôme fragrance campaign
Lancôme is ushering in a new era of its beloved L’Elixir perfume with the launch of its La vie est belle L’Elixir campaign, starring beauty icon Julia Roberts. In the short film, Roberts whisks us away to the streets of Paris and introduces a velvety floral interpretation of L’Elixir.
“This was perhaps the most fun of all our shoots. The story was quite fun and it was one of those moments when everything went completely right,” says Roberts in a press statement, on shooting with Academy Award-winning director, Damien Chazelle.
Described by master perfumer Antoine Maisondieu as “a new symbol of floral modernity for this new chapter of La vie est belle,” La vie est belle L’Elixir presents opulent violet as it’s never been smelled before — alongside notes of rich raspberry, juicy pear and green mandarin superessence. In addition to having an all-new scent, the perfume is housed in an updated crystal flacon tied off with a dainty little black ribbon.
Sabrina Carpenter is Redken’s first global ambassador
Being that she’s one of pop culture’s most idolized blondes at the moment, Sabrina Carpenter‘s latest beauty appointment is a perfect fit. The “Please Please Please” singer has just become the first-ever global face of Redken, and she’s the leading lady in their newest campaign!
Adoring fans everywhere have run to the salon seeking out Carpenter’s signature bangs and bright blonde ‘do (courtesy of her right-hand hairstylist, Scott King), and now, you’ll be able to get closer than ever to matching her look. The secret to pulling off her blonde? Redken’s best-selling Shades EQ hair gloss.
As the pop singer embarks on her upcoming “Short & Sweet” U.S. tour, for which she’s officially partnered with Redken, our eyes will be peeled for products we can use to recreate her on-stage hairstyles.
Ellis Brooklyn drops a sweet vanilla body mist
For something lighter and easier to layer than a traditional perfume, we love a good body mist. Adding to the roster of delicious vanilla fragrances that have dropped in recent years, Ellis Brooklyn’s Vanilla Sin Hair and Fragrance Body Mist is the scent you should be working into your Fall fragrance rotation this season.
Noted with black cherry, hazelnut, almond cream and bourbon vanilla, this gourmand spritzer is utterly addictive. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
