Starbucks’ Zombie Frappuccino is Finally Here!
Just in time for Halloween.
It may be pumpkin spice latte season, but Starbucks has a new drink brewing that’ll get you to “lose your mind”: a Zombie Frappuccino.
Starting today, the coffee chain will be releasing a brand new frapp flavour, just in time for the spookiest day of the year (Halloween, duh).
The creme-based drink “has a ghastly green body made with Frappuccino® Crème infused with flavours of tart apple and caramel and topped with a red mocha drizzle and pink whipped cream ‘brains’.”. It’s allegedly set to release on October 26th, but will be available for a limited time only, much like the beloved Unicorn Frappuccino.
This isn’t the first time Starbucks has released Halloween-themed fraps — back in 2014 it came out with the green tea Franken Frappuccino and in 2015, it launched the vampire-inspired Frappula Frappuccino, consisting of white chocolate sauce and blended milk and ice that’s layered between mocha sauce and a dollop of whipped cream, with a whipped cream topping drizzled in raspberry syrup. The Frappula Frappuccino will also be available this year, but only in the U.K.
