Shay Mitchell Confirms She Is 6-Months Pregnant

After announcing earlier this year that she suffered a miscarriage in 2018, the 32-year-old Canadian actress has just confirmed that she’s pregnant via an Instagram post. Here’s everything you need to know about the Shay Mitchell baby announcement.

The Pretty Little Liars and You actress posted an Instagram on Friday, June 28 of herself wearing just a pair of pants with her baby bump on full display. “Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the car pool lane at all times now?" Mitchell humorously captioned the image.

In addition to the Instagram, Mitchell uploaded a 2-minute YouTube video in which she reveals she is currently 6-months pregnant with her first child, with fellow Canadian (and former MuchMusic VJ) Matte Babel. “It’s kind of surreal processing the fact that another human is growing inside of you. It’s exciting, nerve-wracking, difficult and emotional all at the same time,” Mitchell wrote in the description box.

The video is a teaser of a YouTube series the actress will be rolling out called Almost Ready, which documents her pregnancy. The series is slated to launch July 17 on her YouTube channel.

After doing a bit of sleuthing, we should have known that a baby announcement was on its way. Case in point: Two days ago Mitchell posted an Instagram of baby accessories, with a winking emoji in the caption.
