Y/Project is Bringing Back Uggs and They’re Kind of Amazing

Birkenstocks, Crocs and now these Uggs—the ugly shoe trend just keeps getting better. Y/Project debuted a unisex collab with Ugg at last night’s men’s runway show in Paris, and the thigh-high (and in some cases, crotch-high) slouchy boots remind us of a Shar Pei with their cute caramel wrinkles.  Y/Project creative director, Glenn Martens, describes the experience of wearing them as “putting your foot in a warm pot of butter,” which is a pretty great way to think about winter boots. It’s only a matter of time before these OTT boots are spotted on Kim K and Rihanna so pull out your Uggs because they’re back.
