Winnipeg: Sarah’s top 5 shopping spots
One year has passed since I wrote my first blog post for fashionmagazine.com, sadly, that means my time is up. I decided to leave you all with my top five places to shop in the wonderful city of Winnipeg.
Cha Cha Palace (shown, 173 Lilac St., 204-284-4128) for unique shoes, amazing bags, sexy lingerie and dresses, both expensive and affordable. A wonderful hidden gem with quality pieces. A recently opened second location (468 Main St., 204-943-8440) deals solely in shoes, bags and accessories (for men too!).
Ruby Slipper Vintage Shoppe (970 Sargent Ave., 204-237-4976) for exciting one-of-a-kind fashions from every era. [Check out our video tour of the store]
Silver Lotus (111 Osborne St., 204-452-3648) for exceptional handcrafted and contemporary jewellery, as well as clothing and accessories. My favorite place to find the perfect gift!
The Forks (theforks.com) for a giant marketplace filled with jewellery, scarves and home decor from all around the world.
Paramix (108-100 Osborne St., 204-453-8626) is my one stop shop for bags and shoes. This store only carries a few of each style in most of their merchandise, so you can be sure to stand out!
