What’s in your bag, Edie Parker? »
If you haven’t heard of Edie Parker, chances are that you’ve probably already seen Edie Parker. From the streets outside fashion week to the Instagram accounts of style makers like Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine, Edie Parker’s hella-vibrant acrylic minaudieres have been catching flashbulb lights like woah since the label launched in 2010. Created by former editor turned PR maven Brett Heyman, the vintage-inspired line of clutches, bags and accessories has become one of our favourites to covet, especially since launching at Holt Renfrew this season. While in town for a trunk show last week, we lurked Heyman’s own personal Edie Parker bag, the star-sequined Lara clutch.

“The bag is called the Lara, and its named after my cousin Lara who had a vintage bag that was similar and lent it to me for my wedding. I wear it with a lot because I find it to be surprisingly neutral although I find confetti and sequins are neutrals.” “The sunglasses are from Oliver Peoples, the Oliver Peoples store in New York is about a block from my office, so I was walking down Madison last year, saw ‘em in the window for a few days, visited them, bought them, and have never taken them off.”
