If you haven’t heard of Anine Bing, you’d have probably come across her wares via the Instagram accounts of mega bloggers Aimee Song and Julie Sarinana. Since 2009, Bing has been getting lots of Insta-love for her collections of easy jeans and tees, leather jackets and studded accessories. As the new go-to for casual wear with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll, we’re not surprised to see the big Cali bloggers wearing Bing’s pieces on repeat. Based in Los Angeles, the Danish model/singer/designer/blogger is always on the go and impeccably dressed in her own designs from head to toe. Did we mention she’s also a mother of two?

When she is not busy designing pieces she’s missing in her own closet (she is her own muse, you know), you can always count on the designer to keep you and (190,000+ other followers) updated on all things Anine Bing on her blog and Instagram through candid shots of her children, delicious eats and tons of inspirational #ootds.

Jet-setting from the Golden Coast with a pit stop in Vancouver, she arrived in Toronto for the debut of her pop-up shop at Holt Renfrew where we got a chance to take a peek into her newly launched bag and talked about thing like her fave Instagram filter (Valencia), the best way to wear jewellery (layering, of course!) and wipies. To all the mothers out there running around with their kids in tow, take note, because Anine Bing is the model for how to look completely chic at all times.

“I’ve always been a handbag person. I’m obsessed with handbags and I just want to design the perfect black bag that girls can take from day to night. Big enough for the day (that is most important), but you can also wear out to a nice dinner. It’s just a chic bag that will make any outfit look good.” On wipies: I’m with my kids all the time. I just love being a mom and I try to combine the two lives.”
