Even if you’ve seen pictures of the clothes, this video of the Chanel Spring 2011 show is worth watching because it captures the size of the spectacle--the movement of the clothes and the models weaving around a manicured garden inside the Grand Palais. There are also post-show interviews with Claudia Schiffer, Leigh Lezark and Inès de la Fressange, who says of her appearance: “It’s nice for women to show that they don’t have to be perfect young beautiful models; that even a famous designer like Karl Lagerfeld can hire a granny.”
