Vestiaire Collective Launches Celebrity Wardrobe Sale for COVID-19 Relief

You can shop pieces from Kate Moss' wardrobe for a good cause.

It turns out that we aren’t the only ones who have taken to giving our wardrobes a little spring clean during this period of social distancing – a bunch of our favourite celebrities and fashion figures have done so too. And now, luxury resale site Vestiaire Collective is giving the rest of us the chance to own a piece from said wardrobes.

Announced overnight, the site is launching a celebrity wardrobe sale featuring pieces from Carine Roitfeld, Kate Moss, Thandie Newton, Rachel Weisz, Caroline Issa, Margherita Missoni, Anna Dello Russo and more. The pieces will be auctioned off to the highest bidder and all proceeds will be donated to various non-profit organizations helping to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, including the World Health Organization, the Italian Lombardia Region Fundraising, the France-Paris Hospitals Foundation and the La Paz Hospital in Madrid.

“We’re doing everything we can to combat the effects of the virus with our community, and to help fight it with charity fundraising,” the site said in a statement.

There’s no shortage of incredible pieces on offer – from Chloé handbags to Alexis Rose-approved Isabel Marant minis, Balenciaga sneakers, Tom Ford sunglasses, Giambattista Valli and Hermès boots, Fendi dresses and separates from the likes of Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Alexandre Vauthier, Karl Lagerfeld, Opening Ceremony and more. One of the key items in the lineup comes courtesy of Kate Moss, who has donated a vintage faux fur leopard print jacket.
