Vancouver: To market, to market with Eugene Choo
One of our favourite stores, Eugene Choo (3683 Main St., Vancouver, 604-873-8874, eugenechoo.com), has been hosting monthly markets in the parking lot behind the store during the summer, and we’ve loved popping by in between stops at Front & Co., Umeboshi (whose summer sale, by the way, is amazing) and interior design mecca Vancouver Special.
This Saturday, August 14, marks this month’s edition of the market (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), where you can pick up goodies by Solis jewellery (etsy.com/shop/solisjewelry), flowers from neighbourhood florist Flower Factory (flowerfactory.ca), Heyday ceramics (heydaydesign.ca), and clothing from Daughters of Dawn Vintage (daughtersofdawn.com). Don’t forget to snack on a Rumble Fish taco or slice of homemade pie while you’re there!
