Vancouver: John Fluevog celebrates 40 years with a watch collabo

This year marks the 40th anniversary of John Fluevog (fluevog.com), and to continue the celebrations, the footwear designer teamed up with Nooka, a cool New York accessories label, to produce a limited edition Nooka x John Fluevog watch ($295, nooka.com or Fluevog stores). Working with Nooka artist and designer Matthew Waldman, Fluevog was inspired by the “clean, but intricate design” of the timepieces and combined a white leather band with a red swirl stitch, Nooka’s popular Zot face imprinted with a Fluevog Angel, and a back casing printed with the edition number, a message from John, and four screws--one for each Fluevogian decade.
