Toronto notes: Evan Biddell kicks off fashion week(s) festivities

Evan Biddell kicked off two weeks of fashion shows and events last night with a presentation of his Spring 2011 “Kingdom” collection. Fashion faithfuls trekked to the hinterlands (aka Wilson and Keele) to watch Biddell’s fashion show which was held in an eerie factory stuffed with mannequins. The collection was heavy on drama with armour-inspired looks but there were some very wearable, more commercial pieces alongside his usual works of fashion art.
