It’s taken 20 years, but the great American pastime has finally made its way north once more. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you’ll know that the Toronto Blue Jays are back in business, with their efforts (so far) culminating in the final game of their American League Division Series tonight. If they win, they’ll advance to the semifinals, with a one in four shot at winning the World Series.

If you grew up in the nineties, this occasion will be particularly sentimental for you. The last time the Blue Jays were in contention for this kind of prize Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey were dominating the airwaves, movies like Jurassic Park and Mrs. Doubtfire were blowing up the box office, and people were investing their college tuition in Beanie Babies.

A lot has changed since then, not least of all fashion. But some things, like our country’s ability to rally around our sole MLB team, have managed to stay the same. Sure, the names on the backs of the jerseys are different, but part of what’s always made this team great is its unique ability to attract colourful personalities. This season has certainly been no exception, with some of the most stylish players in the game occupying our roster (baes-ball, anyone?). Here, a look at a few of the freshest fashion highlights brought to you by your 2015 Toronto Blue Jays.
