Tiffany x Eddie Borgo’s Gorgeous Capsule Collection

You hear about design awards all the time, but it’s nice when you actually see recognition turn into an actual collection. Such is the case with Tiffany and jewellery designer Eddie Borgo (high profile ladies like Lauren Santo Domingo, model Joan Smalls, and Madonna are fans) who nabbed the first CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Tiffany and Co. Development Grant, and now his capsule collection of seven unique pieces inspired by Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney are seeing the light of day. Vanderbilt Whitney was a colourful and stylish socialite who helped found the new Whitney Museum, and Tiffany is a sponsor of the next three Whitney Biennials (the first opens March 2017). This limited edition line is available exclusively at the New York Fifth Avenue flagship for now, but is certainly an indication of how Tiffany design director, Francesca Amfitheatrof is broadening the allure of the posh brand.
