Roll out the blue carpet!

Tiffany & Co. hosted a dazzling evening at St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, April 21 to unveil its 2017 Blue Book collection. First published in 1845, the Blue Book is an annual showcase of the luxury jewellery brand’s finest craftsmanship and artistry. Forget couture dresses—it’s all about couture jewels, darling.

Hosted by Tiffany & Co. chairman, Michael Kowalski, the guest list included A-list celebs, like Reese Witherspoon, Ruth Negga and Claire Danes, and models (hello, Doutzen Kroes) to celebrate the latest line-up of fantastical one-of-a-kind jewels.

From bejeweled brooches to sparkling timepieces, the 2017 Blue Book collection—the Art of the Wild—captures the beauty of nature.

Jessica Biel wore a stunning statement piece from this collection to the 89th Annual Academy Awards in January. Featuring platinum and 18-karat yellow gold with diamonds, the feathered collar deserved an Oscar of its own.

Other highlights from the collection include an exotic bird brooch in 18-karat yellow gold with coloured gemstones and yellow and white diamonds, and a Miracle Berry cocktail ring featuring a 20-carat cabochon rubellite.

“We search in every corner of the world to find the most exquisite diamonds and gemstones. We’re looking for a unique quality in each of the gemstones that we discover and use,” says Melvyn Kirtley, Chief Gemologist and Vice President of High Jewellery at Tiffany & Co. “We are always pushing the boundaries of innovation, and doing things that we’ve never done before, working with different types of materials and finishes and stone settings. That is the masterful thing about Blue Book, all of these pieces are works of art.”

The Blue Book collection will be traveling to Vancouver for the re-opening of the Burrard Street store on May 5, and will be on display until May 7.
