It’s that time of year again! The 2017 Toronto International Film Festival has officially kicked off, and that means our fave A-listers will be in town for the festivities.
Of course, with TIFF comes the celebrity gifting lounges, a.k.a. the places where the stars get the best swag and gift bags (what a tough life they live!). So curious to know what they’ll be receiving this year? Check out the lounges (and the swag) below:

Now in its eighth year, the Essentials Lounge by EGPR is an alternative to celeb lounges in that it is exclusively for Canadian media and influencers (#bless). Guests receive:
This marks the eighth beautyBOUTIQUE by Shoppers Drug Mart TIFF Suite, but for the first time ever, it’s in partnership with Entertainment One’s TIFF Lounge. Running from Sept. 7th to Sept. 10th, the lounge offers Canadian media and talent the opportunity to be pampered with beauty services such as St. Tropez custom skin finishing treatments by celebrity tanning expert, Sophie Evans and QUO by ORLYmanicures by TIPS Nail Artist and Shoppers Drug Mart Spokesperson, Melissa Forrest. Guests will receive:

Touted as the non-traditional gifting suite, Bask-It-Style by GLO Communications essentially brings the lounge to the celebs (read: bags filled with swag are delivered directly to their hotel rooms). Now in its ninth year at TIFF, past celebs who have been gifted with goodies include Elle Fanning, Julianne Moore and Rachel McAdams. This year, celebs will receive:
One of the original gifting suites/interview lounges at TIFF (the first eTalk lounge dates back to 2003!), the eTalk Sephora Lounge at the InterContinental Toronto Centre Hotel allows celebrities to receive makeup touch-ups from Sephora‘s Pro Artists and enjoy treats by Sorelle and Co., Sugarfina candy, Bounce energy balls, Flow Water and Greenhouse Juice Co., before their interviews with the entertainment news show. This year, the lounge will host Priyanka Chopra, James Franco, Elle Fanning and more. eTalk and Sephora will also produce a series of broadcast and social media videos featuring red carpet looks from the festival with expert tips to recreate at home.
Here’s what else the stars will leave with:
After 13 seasons and hundreds of celeb guests, including Brad Pitt, Kate Winslet, Brie Larson and Liam Hemsworth, rock-it-promotions’ Tastemakers lounge has rebranded to Tastemakers Presents: Suite on the SIXth. Located at rock-it-promo’s new office on Richmond St. W., this year’s lounge highlights Canadian brands, as a nod to Canada’s 150th anniversary. On-site is celebrity skincare guru and founder of peoni, Jennifer Brodeur, who has worked with the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama, and Ink & Water Tattoo, who will be offering fine line micro-tats to guests who wish to receive them.
Suite on the SIXth will also continue with the charitable mandate of Tastemakers by asking guests to sign their names on an autograph board that will later be given to SickKids Foundation for auction. Suite on the SIXth will also contribute with a monetary donation.
Here’s what guests will take home:
Hosted by fashion showroom, Stylist Box, The Stylist Suite, presented by Yorkville Village, allows celebs to be styled for the red carpet and special appearances by Canadian designers, while also getting prepped by hairstylists from Salon Daniel & Spa and beauty experts from P1M. Master injector Dr. Jennifer Pearlman of PearlMD Rejuvenation is also on-site to provide a range of red carpet beauty and skin enhancing treatments such as lip enhancement, facial contouring and skin tightening.
Additionally, celeb guests have the opportunity to pose in The Pull Magazine Portrait Studio with celeb photographer Matthew Lyn in support of WE Charity.
They will leave with the following:
For the second year in a row, NKPR has teamed up with Scott Brothers Entertainment (a.k.a the Property Brothers) on the IT House x Producers Ball. The two-storey building serves as a sort of chill-out spot for celebs, media and industry insiders during the festival. The IT House showcases collections from Swarovski and Annabelle Cosmetics and features activations such as an on-site aura reader, a Barilla pasta bar, Pinkberry yogurt and a pop-up merch shop by Lightspeed, with 100 per cent of proceeds going to Artists for Peace and Justice.
The IT House will also include two celebrity portrait studios with Nylon Magazine (shot by fashion and celebrity photographer Sophie Elgort) and The Coveteur (shot by Jake Rosenberg). Portrait studios in the past have seen Julianne Moore, Eddy Redmayne, Elizabeth Banks, Natalie Portman and more.
Here’s what else the celebs will be leaving with:
What do celebs need during an action-packed TIFF? Puppy therapy! This year, online entertainment magazine, The Gate, is teaming up with Hamilton Watches and offering an oasis of sorts at the InterContinental Toronto Centre for celebrity, filmmaker and influencer guests. Those in attendance can play with puppies from Save Our Scruff, test out Virtual Reality guided meditation from House of VR and enjoy healthy, gluten-free paleo-friendly treats from Impact Kitchen, along with a beer from Woodhouse Brewing.
Guests will leave with:
