They said/We said: The birth of fashioncalender.ca makes LG Fashion Week easy, breezy, and buzzy!

Fashion week can be stressful to say the least, and usually, days (hours!) before LG Fashion Week, we’d be feeling the strain of confusing or conflicting schedules. This time around we’re much more prepared, thanks to Frank Griggs and fashioncalendar.ca, a site that Toronto fashionistas have been desperate for.

Griggs’ site has a clean and easy layout, making it really easy to schedule your life around Toronto’s various fashion events. The site has no affiliations and no biases, giving you all the info you need: which events are being lived streamed for at-home viewing, the contact info to request an invitation to those RSVP-only parties, and—most  practical of all—Google Map links to all of the events.

Just days after its launch, the site is already being talked about by the who’s who in Toronto fashion and enthusiasts who will want to skip work for the many shows—so keep this one in your bookmarks and update it frequently. It’ll save your fashion week life and beyond.

THEY SAID…

Amy Verner, @amyverner: Frank Griggs is my kind of multi-hyphenate. Just launched fashioncalendar.ca for all those doing #TFW and hoping to keep sanity intact.

Sarah Nicole Pricket, @xoxSNP: EFFING. FINALLY. http://t.co/PqlGZo9F

Danielle Meder, @finalfashion: Great idea, cleanly executed – there should be one for every city. Fashion event listings in Toronto: http://www.fashioncalendar.ca/ Cheers @omgblog

WE SAID…

Susie Sheffman, fashion director: “No more scribbling dates and times on napkins and cab chits, and most of all it helps to point out just how crazy long Toronto Fashion Week really is.”
