The daily steal: Grey nail polish, $6
Ever since I spied the five customized shades of grey Creative Nail Design mixed up backstage at Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 show, I have been fantasizing about adorning my own hands with some--specifically the charcoal hue. Until CND releases them (please, please make it happen), I’ll tide myself over with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in “Commander in Chic” ($6, at drugstores). With no brown undertones (I’m so over taupe), this rich hue looks divinely smoky in some light, darkly mauve in others. Smitten.
