The daily steal: Denim necklace, $20

The thing about fashion is that the rules are always changing. As Heidi Klum says on Project Runway, “one day you’re in, the next, you’re out.” So I should hardly be surprised when a one-time faux pas is suddenly on point. I’m talking denim on denim. Call me old fashioned, but I just can’t seem to wrap my head around this one. Even seeing some of fashion’s heavy-hitters sporting the look is not enough to tempt me to try it out. But then I came across Aldo’s bold denim necklace ($20, aldoshoes.ca). While I’ll still be participating in the trend, this will be far away enough from my skinnies that I don’t look like a cowgirl.
