Shizen Spa at Toronto’s Cosmopolitan Hotel (8 Colborne St., 416-945-5455, and one other Toronto-area location, shizen.ca) has a line-up of lunch-time deals that threaten to goad even a cheapskate like me to shell out. Book an appointment on a weekday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and you can get an express mani/pedi and a spa lunch for $65 or a spray tan and lunch for $40. (See the promotions section of the site for full details.) My office mates voted the Get Ready for Summer package–bikini and eyebrow waxing and a spa lunch for $45–the best deal of the bunch.
