Step Inside Supermodel Amber Valletta’s Epic Closet With a 360-Degree Tour

Gucci, Pucci and plenty of "gifts" from designer friends.

Hanging out in a supermodel’s dreamy walk-in closet is a privilege usually reserved for the VIPs in her life (think stylists, BFFs, pets). But Vogue is giving us an all-access pass inside the designer-filled closets of some of the industry’s biggest stars!

In collaboration with Condé Nast Entertainment, the American fashion bible has launched a new series called “Supermodel Closets,” which provides a 360-degree tour of top catwalkers’ closets, like Kendall Jenner and more.

The latest episode takes us inside 90s supermodel/actress Amber Valletta’s incredible closet featuring ready-to-wear, vintage bags, jewellery and countless “gifts” from her designer friends like Marc Jacobs.

During the four-minute video, Valletta gets personal about the pieces in her closet, pointing out her faves and sharing the stories behind them. “This is the craziest coat” she says in the clip, holding up a ruffled Lanvin topper that she was given when she starred in the brand’s campaign. She also highlights her Chanel “portable water bottle carrier,” a vintage John Galliano dress (“this dress has probably seen some good dancing”), an oversized candy-coloured Louis Vuitton bag and several Isabel Marant crystal pendants (“maybe rose quartz will give me good luck”).

But it’s not all glitz and glam for this forty-three-year-old supe—at one point during the video she pulls out a pair of casual OshKosh overalls. “I wear them when I’m getting very serious about cleaning,” she quips.

From dresses to denim, Valletta’s style is more timeless than trendy. “Buying pieces that are classic that will last a lifetime,” she says referring to her shopping strategy. We can definitely get behind this sartorial philosophy—now if only our budget said supermodel, too.
