Stuart Weitzman brings back the Million Dollar Shoe, only cheaper

What recession? Stuart Weitzman is bringing back the bling with the return of the Million Dollar Shoe, which made its debut on the red carpet at the Oscars back in 2002.

The original shoe was encrusted with a whopping 464 diamonds (no big deal…) but has been revamped into a more affordable dream shoe dubbed The Millionairess. The diamonds have been swapped for Swarovski crystal straps and redesigned with a teardrop detail. Pictured above on mega-model Natalia Vodianova, Weitzman’s latest campaign shows the model and her shoes dressed down á la Calvin Klein ads. Because, hey, what else does one need with shoes like these?

The shoes will be available exclusively at Stuart Weitzman stores across Canada in April. ($625, stuartweitzman.ca4)
