Yesterday’s WMCFW lineup covered both ends of the fashion spectrum, from the wild party brought by Hayley Elsaesser to the elegant floral gowns at Lucian Matis, and the crowd seemed to dress accordingly. Fashion enthusiasts at David Pecaut square shrugged off the rain and embraced the day with added punches of colour and print-mixing.

Accessories stole the spotlight at yesterday’s shows. From skeleton hand chains to cartoonish handbags, the fashion crew was having fun with their outfits. And as always the case for our chilly city, outerwear wasn’t overlooked. From decals on coats to added touches of fur, day two proved that Canadians know how to keep things fashionable despite the temperature.
