Toronto street style from the CNE »
There’s nothing more simultaneously anticipated and dreaded in Toronto than the Canadian National Exhibition a.k.a. The Ex. The three-week funfest infiltrates the city’s waterfront with rickety rides and fried-to-perfection treats and a whole lotta neon light. It’s one of the highlights of the summer (and one of the best spots to Instagram), but it also marks the end of summer, hence the existential grapple. Well, however it makes you feel, The Ex is one helluva spot for people watching. Photographer Mauricio Calero stomped the grounds this week, finding punky undercuts, fruity iPhone cases and a plenty of ear-to-ear smiles.
